Smart TCM is a specifically designed for Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Clinics and Remedial Massage practices Record Management software. It can help practitioners to save significant amount of time to complete the consultation record in digital format. It has the functions for suggesting Chinese herb formulae and acupoints to be used for a particular Chinese Medicine diagnosis. It makes the tasks of storing, searching, checking and reviewing patient records become so much easy and simple.

With the continuous development of AI technology, the English translations of many terms and descriptions of the unique disease symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine are gradually becoming more meaningful, which is enough to provide great help to many Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists who have poor English skills to complete the English medical records required.

To go with that, the functions of Smart TCM software have been improved to providing the interfaces to collect and store English translations of corresponding parts of Chinese medical records.

Smart TCM has 2 versions:

  1. Intranet version, which the software is installed in a computer in your clinic or practice, only allow internal access. You have full control of it!
  2. Internet version, which is this web site. The patient records are stored in a secured database server, you can access them anywhere anytime!


1. Basic steps to register:
  • Please select and sign up a package below, register your clinic/practice and your own personal details.
  • You will receive an email from us about your registration. Please check and click the link in the email to activate your registered account.
  • We will also receive the notice that you have just completed a new registration. If the information sounds correct and true, we will approve your registration as soon as possible.
  • At this point, your registration is successful and you can log in to your account at any time.


  • After logging in for the first time, the most important thing is to make sure your clinic details are correct! Click the menu option "My Clinic", you can confirm or modify your clinic's information, business hours, add practitioner/therapist information, and determine the work schedule (the appointments management function requires this must be done first!)


2. Basic steps to complete a consultation record:
  • For a new patient, first add the new patient record. This includes name, address, contact phone number, email, past medical history, etc.
  • For an existing patient, use the search function to find his/her past consultation records.
  • Choose to add a new consultation record or add a follow-up visit.
  • If you add a new consultation record, you can first search the existing dyanosis module, and then modify the relevant content in the module according to the current situation of the patient, including symptoms, examination, diagnosis, prescription of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture point selection and therapeutic massage parts and techniques, etc.
  • If you add a follow-up consultation, click the "Add follow-up" button, the relevant information from last visit will be filled in automatically, and the doctor/therapist can change the relevant content according to the patient's condition, and then the follow-up consultation record can be completed quickly.
  • After the consultation record is completed, you can continue to record the relevant charges and payment details, print the Chinese medicine prescription in Pinyin + Chinese character, print receipts that meet the requirements of the private health insurance company, and so on.


3.Basic steps of Appointment Management:
  • First, the Practitioner/Therapist's work schedule must be set up in the "My Clinic" section.
  • From the calendar on the left side of the interface, click on the relevant day, the practitioners/therapists who is scheudled working on this day will be displayed in a column, including their respective appointments information.
  • Add a new appointment booking - simply click on the appropriate time slot under each practitioner/therapist's name.
  • Every apointment booking made can be changed. Click on the appointment booking coloured area to display the details, and to send SMS reminder to customer*.


  • If you have your own website, we can provide a web link for you to put up on your site, to provide the "Book an Appointment" option for your patients.
  • Once your patient clicks on the web link, he/she will be directed to our appointment booking website at https://betterhealthbooking.com.
  • All the booking information will be captured for you to manage on smarttcm.com . Confirmation email notifications will be sent to your clinic email account and your patient's email account, just to confirm the booking details.
  • This service is freely included in the SmartTCM.com package you've registered.
